Bald Head is an exclusive island. No cars are permitted. The only access to the island is via boat. (A ferry runs every hour from 6 am to 11 pm)
Primary modes of transportation once on the island are golf carts, bikes, or walking. There are three restaraunts on the island and a small grocery store offers basic supplies.
